Welcome to the
Tuberous Sclerosis 2000 Study
(TS 2000)

About the TS 2000 Study

Tuberous Sclerosis Complex (TSC) is a rare genetic condition that causes non-malignant tumours to grow in the skin, brain and other organs. The TS 2000 study is the first comprehensive longitudinal study of TSC with 125 families participating nationwide. The study recruited children as soon as possible after diagnosis in order to collect good quality data on early development. The TS 2000 study aims to chart the natural history of TSC and identify factors that help determine intellectual, cognitive and psychiatric difficulties (TAND).
